Allison Rowe was educated at Monash University
where she obtained an Honours Degree in Law. Allison
is admitted to practice as a Barrister
and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of
Victoria, and of the High Court of Australia.
Allison has practised exclusively
in the area of Family Law since the commencement
of her legal career.
Allison commenced her legal career in
private practice, before moving on to the
role of Child Support Solicitor at the Geelong Community
Legal Service. As Child Support Solicitor,
Allison practiced exclusively in the area
of child support continuously for a number
of years, acquiring significant skill
and expertise in this particularly complex
and technical area. Allison then went on to
become the Principal Solicitor at the
Geelong Community Legal Service, before
being offered, and accepting, the position
of Family Law Solicitor at Victoria Legal
Aid's Barwon Regional Office. Allison
strived for excellence and worked tirelessly
and passionately in all of her positions.
Eventually, the decision to open a legal
firm of her own, practising exclusively
in family law, was made and our firm
was born under its original name of Rowe Lawyers.
On 1 November 2007 Allison welcomed Family Law Specialist Paul Cahill to the firm as a named Partner and Cahill & Rowe Family Law was established. In the course of her career, Allison
has been an active member of the legal
community in Geelong. She has regularly
volunteered her time at the Geelong Community
Legal Service's Night Advice Service and
was a member of the Committee of the Geelong
Law Association for a number of years.
Allison has been involved in teaching
Deakin University law students and has
contributed to various writings on the
subjects of family law and child support.
Allison continues to work passionately
and tirelessly for clients in her preferred
field of family law. Allison's particular
strengths are her ability to develop and
maintain strong relationships with clients
of all different personalities and backgrounds
and her meticulous attention to the fine
details in every part of her work. This
attention to detail is inevitably the
basis for the high quality of Allison's
work and her successful career in Family
Law to date. |
